Bouquet & Bells partnered with Klickit to redesign and rebuild their digital platform as the brand continued to grow as a leading wedding destination across Cheshire, North Wales, Shropshire and beyond. As a business connecting engaged couples with trusted wedding suppliers, while also running popular in-person wedding shows, the platform needed to balance inspiration, discovery, and commercial value for multiple audiences.
The existing site no longer reflected the scale of the brand or the breadth of what Bouquet & Bells offered. The opportunity was to create a platform that could support brides and grooms planning their wedding, showcase a growing database of suppliers, and promote live wedding events — all while maintaining a warm, approachable brand feel. From the outset, the focus was on clarity and usability. The platform needed to work equally well for couples browsing inspiration, suppliers looking for exposure, and the internal team managing content and events. It was important that the site felt editorial and considered, rather than transactional, while still supporting the commercial goals of the business.

Klickit was brought in to lead the project end to end, covering planning, UX design, and Shopify development, ensuring the final platform supported both the digital supplier directory and the wider Bouquet & Bells wedding show ecosystem.

The planning phase centred on understanding the different user groups and how they interacted with the brand. Brides and grooms needed an intuitive way to discover suppliers, explore categories, and feel inspired. Suppliers needed visibility, clear positioning, and confidence that their listings reflected their businesses accurately. Internally, the Bouquet & Bells team needed a system that was easy to manage and flexible as the brand continued to evolve. Rather than treating the site as a simple marketing website, we approached it as a content-driven platform with structured data at its core. Through discovery and planning sessions, we mapped out the information architecture for the supplier directory, defining categories, filters, and content structures that would scale as the supplier base grew. We also planned how wedding shows would be promoted across the site, ensuring clear calls to action for both attendees and exhibitors. UX design focused on creating a calm, editorial experience that allowed couples to browse naturally while surfacing suppliers in a way that felt curated rather than overwhelming. The design needed to support browsing, comparison, and exploration, while reinforcing Bouquet & Bells’ position as a trusted authority in the wedding space.

Shopify was used as the foundation, allowing the team to manage suppliers, content, and event information efficiently, without introducing unnecessary complexity.

The platform was built to support regular updates, new supplier additions, and evolving content needs, while maintaining strong performance across devices. Throughout development, Klickit worked closely with the Bouquet & Bells team to refine functionality and ensure the platform aligned with real operational workflows. This included configuring CMS structures for supplier listings, editorial content, and wedding shows, as well as ensuring the site could support future enhancements without rework. The end result was a scalable wedding platform that brings together couples, suppliers, and events in one cohesive experience. A digital foundation that supports Bouquet & Bells’ role as both a trusted wedding resource and a growing events brand, while giving the internal team the tools they need to manage and evolve the platform with confidence.
